Bochy has not yet decided who would start a potential Game 4 or 5, but Peavy pitching on short rest is an option. The Giants also have pitcher Yusmeiro Petit.

San Francisco advanced to the NLDS after an 8-0 shutout of the Pirates Wednesday night in the NL Wild Card game. The Giants will now face the Washington Nationals, who won the NL East, in the best-of-five series.
