Watch: Bartolo Colon chases A.J. Pierzynski on unassisted pickoff
New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon chased down Atlanta Braves catcher A.J. Pierzynski for an unassisted pickoff.

All 285 pounds (at least) of Bartolo Colon chased down A.J. Pierzynski during Thursday's Mets-Braves for one of the more unusual pickoffs you'll ever see.
Pierzynski broke for second too quickly and Colon ran after him, freezing him by faking the throw to first.
Pierzynski froze like a squirrel in the middle of the street with an SUV bearing down on him. Easy prey for Rumblin’ Bart. #mets

It was Colon's first successful pickoff since 2013 and only his fifth in the past 11 years.
