Injured knee keeps Cardinals' Molina sidelined vs Brewers
Manager Mike Matheny says there would be no roster move, and Tony Cruz will start for Molina.
Matheny says ''We're still hopeful that we're talking a day or so. We'll adjust as we need to.''
Molina's knee is less swollen but still sore, making it difficult to get in the catcher's squat. Matheny says he may use Molina as a pinch-hitter.
The Cardinals other possible catcher is infielder Pete Kozma, who caught a bullpen session Saturday.
The 32-year-old Molina has played in 14 of the Cardinals' 15 games. He's hitting .294.
