Dodgers' Paco Rodriguez goes on 15-day DL

ST. LOUIS (AP) The Los Angeles Dodgers placed pitcher Paco Rodriguez on the 15-day disabled list and recalled Matt West from Triple A-Oklahoma City before Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Manager Don Mattingly said Rodriguez (elbow) had trouble extending and finishing off pitches, but wasn't feeling any pain. Rodriguez has been sent back to Los Angeles for further evaluation.

Rodriguez (0-0, 2.53 ERA) gave up two hits in one-third of an inning on Saturday night.
