Vanderbilt, LSU, Florida highlight eight-team College World Series field

With victories on Monday night by Vanderbilt, Cal-State Fullerton and TCU, the field for the 2015 College World Series is set.

Super Regional victories on Monday night by Vanderbilt, Cal-State Fullerton and TCU finalized the field for the 2015 College World Series.

In the first half of the tournament, No. 20 Arkansas will take on Virginia at 3 p.m. ET on June 13, while No. 3 Florida will play No. 7 Miami at 8 p.m. ET.

The bottom half of the bracket will feature two games on June 14: No. 1 LSU against TCU at 3 p.m. ET, followed by No. 18 Cal-State Fullerton taking on No. 8 Vanderbilt at 8 p.m. ET.  

Each of the groups of four teams will play a double-elimination tournament and berth one team into the College World Series Finals, which begin June 22.

The eight-team event will be peppered with future major league prospects selected in Monday's MLB draft, including the Arizona Diamondbacks' No. 1 pick, Commodores shortstop Dansby Swanson. 

Vanderbilt pitchers Carson Fulmer and Walker Buehler were also selected in the first round of the draft Monday by the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers, respectively. 

LSU will be led by second pick, shortstop Alex Bregman, who will join the Houston Astros organization. 

All College World Series games will be shown on ESPN or ESPN 2.
