Los Angeles Dodgers centerfielder Joc Pederson robbed San Diego Padres outfielder Justin Upton of what would have been a walk-off hit in Sunday's game.

Upton, given the green light on a 3–0 count with two outs in the ninth inning, hit a long fly ball to dead centerfield on a fastball down the middle from Juan Nicasio. Alexi Amarista was the runner on second base and surely would have scored the game-winning run if Pederson had not tracked the ball down.

Pederson appeared to have a bit of trouble locating the ball, looking over both shoulders before making the catch one step before crashing into the centerfield wall.

Thanks to Pederson's heroics, the game went to extra innings and the Dodgers won in the 12th.
