The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of the crosstown Angels on Sunday thanks to Andre Ethier’s walk-off home run in the 10th inning.

Ethier had given the Dodgers a one-run lead with a solo homer in the eighth inning but the Angels tied the game in the top of the ninth on a Chris Iannetta double. Ethier was 2 for five in the game with three RBIs.

There was one out and a runner on first when Ethier took a changeup from Drew Rucinsky and hit it over the rightfield fence to give the Dodgers a 5–3 win.

The walk-off homer was the seventh of Ethier’s career and his first since May 2010.

The win moved the Dodgers to 60–45 on the season, extending their lead in the NL West over the San Francisco Giants to 2.5 games.
