Watch: Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto hits inside-the-park homer

Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto pulled off the rarest of feats Tuesday night against the Brewers.

Inside-the-park home runs are a rarity at any level of baseball with a fence, but especially in the major leagues. Inside-the-parkers by catchers are even rarer.

So when Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto pulled off the feat Tuesday night against Milwaukee, it was particularly notable.

Realmuto ripped a pitch from Taylor Jungmann off the centerfield wall, where it was misjudged by Brewers centerfielder Domingo Santana and rolled into some dead space in right center. It lay more than long enough for Realmuto to get a serious jump on Ryan Braun's throw, which came in off the mark as he crossed the plate standing up, giving Miami a 4–2 lead.

The solo homer was Realmuto's second shot of the game.
