Braves P Mike Foltynewicz hospitalized for blood clots in arm

Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz has been hospitalized with blood clots in his right arm, the team announced in a statement Sunday.
The 23-year-old righthander entered Piedmont Hospital on Friday, where he is being monitored and treated with blood thinners. The team currently has no further updates on his status, but will provide them when they become available.
Foltynewicz made his debut for the Houston Astros in 2014, going 0–1 with a 5.30 ERA in 16 appearances out of the bullpen. He has made 14 starts for the Braves this season, after the team gave him his first career start on May 1. He is 4–6 with a 5.71 ERA this season.
