Report: Former Astros manager Bo Porter interviews for Marlins job

Former Astros manager and current Braves third base coach Bo Porter has interviewed for the Marlins’ open manager position, reports Jon Heyman of CBSsports.com.
Porter is just one of two reported candidates to have interviewed for the position, joining former Cleveland Indians manager Manny Acta.
Porter has spent just under two full seasons as a major league manager, compiling a 110–190 record with the Astros from 2013-2014. He also has history with the Marlins, acting as the team's third base coach from 2007–09.
Dan Jennings served as manager for the Marlins following the firing of Mike Redmond on May 17, but he has been asked to return to a front office role, Heyman reports.
The Marlins are expected to conduct an extensive search and hope to hire a manager with previous experience.
