Bryan Price will return as the manager of the Cincinnati Reds next season, general manager Walt Jocketty told reporters Saturday.

Price is in his second season as manager of the Reds. In two years, Price has a 139–183 record. The Reds entered Saturday 63–97 and losers of 13 straight.

“Just to put this to rest, Bryan is coming back as the Reds manager in 2016,” Jocketty said Saturday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. “We are going to discuss the coaching staff over the next couple of weeks and we'll make an announcement about that in two-to-three weeks.”

Price was previously the Reds’ pitching coach before his promotion to manager after the firing of Dusty Baker. The Reds have dealt with numerous injuries in each of Price’s two seasons at the helm.
