Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki was back in the lineup Friday after missing three weeks with a crack in his left shoulder blade.
He hit seventh in the order and started the game 1 for 4 with a run scored.
Tulowitzki sustained the injury when he collided with centerfielder Kevin Pillar in a game against the Yankees on Sept. 12. He went back to his left to catch a shallow fly ball, and Pillar ran right into his spine, causing Tulowitzki to fall to the ground.
X-rays initially came back negative, but an MRI later revealed a small crack in his scapula.
Toronto acquired the 30-year-old Tulowitzki from Colorado at July's trade deadline for shortstop Jose Reyes and three pitching prospects.
