Colorado Rockies manager Walt Weiss will return next season, reports FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal.

The Rockies finished 68–94 and fifth in the NL West this season, Weiss’s third with the team. In his three years as manager, Weiss has a 208–278 record.

The Rockies haven’t finished higher than fourth in the division since 2010, when they finished third. The most games Weiss has won in a single season is 74, in his first year with the team. Colorado’s last playoff appearance came in 2009.

The Rockies finished 24 games behind the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers in 2015. Colorado traded away shortstop Troy Tulowitzki in July.
