Friday November 20th, 2015

The Atlanta Braves have traded outfielder Cameron Maybin to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for pitchers Ian Krol and Gabe Speier, the team announced Friday.

Maybin was taken by the Tigers with the No. 10 pick in the 2005 MLB draft, and debuted in 2007 with Detroit, playing 24 games. The next season, he was sent to the Marlins in a trade for Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis. He then played four seasons with the San Diego Padres before joining Atlanta in 2015.

Maybin is coming off a resurgent campaign with the Braves, hitting .267 with 10 home runs and 59 RBIs.
