Marlins minor leaguer suspended 60 games for positive test

NEW YORK (AP) Miami Marlins catcher Robert Llera has been suspended for 60 games under baseball's minor league drug program following a positive test for a metabolite of Stanozolol.

The 22-year-old hit .250 this year in 14 games and 36 at-bats for the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Marlins. The suspension starts with the opening of next season.

His suspension, announced Wednesday by the commissioner's office, was the 100th this year under the minor league program.
