Dodgers sign Scott Kazmir to three-year, $48 million deal
The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Scott Kazmir to a three-year contract, the team announced.
The deal was first reported by Ken Gurnick of MLB.com. The deal is worth $48 million with an opt-out clause after the first season, reports CBS Sports' Jon Heyman.
Kazmir is coming off a year in which he went 7–11 with a 3.10 ERA in 31 starts for the Oakland Athletics and Houston Astros.

The left-handed pitcher will be entering his 12th season in the majors after spending time with the Tampa Bay Rays, Los Angeles Angels, Cleveland Indians, Athletics and Astros. He has a 98–90 record in his career.
The Dodgers pitching staff already includes southpaws Clayton Kershaw, Brett Anderson, Alex Wood and Hyun-Jin Ryu.
