Puig has full workout with Dodgers after tooth removal

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) Yasiel Puig participated in his first full spring training workout with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday.

Puig missed the Dodgers' first full workout of spring Thursday after getting two wisdom teeth removed from the left side of his mouth.

A day later, the Cuban slugger went to work at the Dodgers' Camelback Ranch training complex.

Through a translator, Puig said he was ''feeling a lot better, thanks for asking.''

Puig says his dentist told him to get the teeth pulled quickly before the Dodgers got too deep into spring.

Puig has already been in Arizona for a week. The outfielder still hasn't received any potential disciplinary penalty under baseball's new domestic violence policy after a reported altercation with his sister and a bouncer at a Miami nightclub last November.
