San Diego Padres pitcher Colin Rea had a no-hitter broken up with two outs in the seventh inning by New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes.

Rea has thrown 89 pitches so far, tallying three strikeouts and a walk. After Cespedes’s hit, he forced Lucas Duda into a groundout at first to maintain the shutout.

The 25-year-old right-hander is making just the 12th start in his major league career since debuting in August of last season.

Rea also has an RBI as the Padres hold a 5–0 lead.
