Independent league player Cameron Monger ran through a bullpen door to make a catch on Tuesday.

Monger, an outfielder for the Sioux Falls Canaries, made the catch in left field during an exhibition game against the St. Paul Saints.

The 27-year-old Monger was originally drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 27th round of the 2009 MLB draft. Last season for the Frontier League’s Normal Cornbelters, he finished with a .263 batting average, while also recording 13 home runs and 36 stolen bases, which were both career highs.

In four Independent seasons before the 2016 campaign, Monger posted a .285 career batting average with 42 doubles, 14 triples and 22 home runs.
