PHOENIX (AP) The Arizona Diamondbacks put two of their five starting pitchers on the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

Right-hander Rubby De La Rosa was sidelined with elbow inflammation, while right-hander Shelby Miller was placed on the disabled list for the first time in his career with a sprained right index finger.

The Diamondbacks activated right-hander Josh Collmenter from the 15-day disabled list. Collmenter has been out since April 2 with shoulder inflammation.

De La Rosa posted a 4-1 mark and 1.87 ERA in six outings before allowing five earned runs in 4 1/3 innings Wednesday at Pittsburgh.

Miller first injured the finger in a start April 16 in San Diego when he scraped his hand across the mound on his follow through. In 10 starts, Miller is 1-6 with a 7.09 ERA. He has struck out 30 and walked 29 in 45 2/3 innings.

In other moves Friday, Arizona optioned left-hander Andrew Chaffin and right-hander Evan Marshall to Triple-A Reno and recalled right-handers Silvino Bracho and Dominic Leone, and outfielder Peter O'Brien from Reno.
