Strike Zone podcast: Jay Jaffe on Griffey, Piazza and Hall of Fame

On this week's edition of The Strike Zone podcast, Jay Jaffe joins the show to talk about the upcoming Hall of Fame inductions of Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza.

On this week's edition of The Strike Zone podcast, the topic is the upcoming Hall of Fame inductions of the Class of 2016: Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza. So what better person to talk all things Cooperstown than Jay Jaffe, SI.com's resident Hall of Fame expert?

On this week's show, Jay talks with Ted Keith about where this year's inductees rank among the Hall's best. After that, Ted and Jay discuss the future Hall of Fame ballots and candidates up for election, including those still on the ballot and those to come, and who they think is a lock for Cooperstown and who will be left waiting a long time for a bronze plaque. Ted and Jay also talk about the voting process for the Hall and what they'd like to see changed or improved, as well as run down who Jay's picks for who he'd put in the Hall without question.
