Ben Revere made a spectacular catch in the bottom of the fourth inning on Friday night to preserve the Nationals 1–0 lead over the Braves, robbing Freddie Freeman of a home run.

The hit came off of starter Tanner Roark as the Nationals seek to extend their 9.5 game lead over the Marlins in the NL East.

Revere, who is listed as 5'9", is hitting .211 with 11 stolen bases in his first season with Washington. He followed up his defensive heroics with an RBI single in the top of the fifth inning.

The home run would have been the 25th on the season for Freeman, who is the only Atlanta player with more than nine home runs through 121 games.
