Rangers reliever Jeremy Jeffress has entered rehab and will not be suspended by Major League Baseball following a DWI arrest last week, according to multiple reports.

Jeffress, 28, will spend approximately one month in a Houston-area rehabilitation clinic and could potentially return to the team during the postseason, Yahoo! Sports’ Jeff Passan reports.

The righthander was jailed early in the morning last Friday after with a blood alcohol content of .115. He was later released on $500 bail.

Texas acquired  from Milwaukee at the trade deadline along with catcher Jonathan Lucroy. He last made an appearance with Texas on Aug. 23, pitching one inning and giving up one earned run in a 3–0 loss to the Cincinnati Reds.
