After clinching the AL East, the Red Sox are going all out for David Ortiz’s last regular-season homestand.

Boston hosts Toronto at Fenway Park beginning Friday, and ballpark staffers put together some incredible artwork in Big Papi’s honor — the iconic image of Ortiz pointing to the sky (presumably following a home run) has been prominently cut into the centerfield grass.

No word on whether this will stay for the playoffs (a reasonable guess would be no), but it’s pretty cool nonetheless.

The 40-year-old Ortiz is hitting a remarkable .316 with 37 home runs and 124 RBIs in what he has assured everyone will be his final professional season.
