Photos: Jason Kipnis’s sprained ankle is very swollen

Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis plans to play through a sprained left ankle in the World Series after suffering the injury during a postgame celebration in the ALCS.
Judging by photos posted on Tuesday, hours before the series is set to begin, the injury is quite painful.
Kipnis rolled his ankle last Wednesday when he celebrated with Francisco Lindor on the field after the final out in Game 5 of the ALCS against the Blue Jays. He tweeted out a photo which showed the exact moment he sustained what the team is calling a low ankle sprain.
Got a little too close to @Lindor12BC during the celebration!! Freak accident but should be good to go by Tuesday! #cantkeepmeoutofthisgame! pic.twitter.com/2DKgpzP0lq
