Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James congratulated the Chicago Cubs on winning the World Series in seven games over the Cleveland Indians with a video on Uninterrupted.

The Chicago Cubs overcame a 3–1 deficit—just as James's Cavaliers did in the NBA Finals to defeat the Golden State Warriors for the city's first championship in 52 years.

James was in attendance for Game 2, 6 and 7—all were Indians losses.

Watch James's message to the Cubs and Indians below:

For Kipnis, World Series is boyhood dream come to life

The Indians now have the longest major league world series drought as they have not won a championship since 1948.
