It's October, which means it's finally time for playoff baseball with the New York Yankees hosting the Minnesota Twins in the American League Wild Card game Tuesday night, starting at 8 p.m. ET.

The first pitch is at 8:09 p.m. ET. 

The Yankees finished the season second in the AL East at 91-71, while the Twins finished second in the AL Central at 85-77.

Ervin Santana (16-8) will be taking the mound for Minnesota with Luis Severino (14-6) pitching for New York.

The winner of this matchup will play the Cleveland Indians in the American League Division Series.
