After that, you build the offense around Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto, give Amed Rosario, Brandon Nimmo, and Dom Smith every chance to play and develop, and see what happens. With the Yankees on the rise and the Mets window that looked wide open just two years ago now likely slammed shut, the tabloids likely won’t be kind to Queens’ finest for the foreseeable future.
