In this story:

The Houston Astros will host the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday in what will be the first of a three-game weekend series at Minute Maid Park.

It is a rematch of the 2022 World Series in which the Astros won in six games.

Houston is back on track and tied for first place in the American League West and the Phillies look to be surging. It should be an exciting weekend of baseball in the Bayou City.

Ace Framber Valdez will take the mound in an attempt to silence the powerful Philadelphia lineup. He will face Aaron Nola who has struggled this season but has the ability to be a game-changer atop the rotation.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. CT

Friday's game will not be televised in the Houston market. It can be streamed on Apple TV as part of their Friday Night Baseball program. It is the first such game this season the Astros will be on Apple TV.
