How to Watch Houston Astros and Rangers Friday, Channel, Streams and Lineups

In this story:
The Houston Astros are ready to win the Silver Boot this season and their first opportunity to get ahead in the race is on Friday night. That is when they will host their American League West and in-state rivals the Texas Rangers at Minute Maid Park.
Both of these teams have high expectations coming into the 2023 MLB season. Houston is looking to win another World Series while Texas is proving early it could make a run at a postseason spot thanks to a revamped rotation featuring Jacob deGrom.
However, the Astros will get lucky as the aforementioned will not be making an appearance in this series.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. CT and Luis Garcia will take the mound for Houston. Martin Perez will get the start for the Rangers.
The game can be watched on AT&T SportsNet Southwest or streamed on MLB.tv if you are not in the local Houston market.
