Watch: Houston Astros Slugger Álvarez Launches Massive Homer to Tie Game With Tigers

In this story:
Never count the Houston Astros out. Not last season and not this season. The reigning World Series champions were struggling early against the Detroit Tigers, a team they were heavily favored against.
After not being able to plate a run against the Tigers and starter Matt Boyd for four innings, Houston turned it on in the fifth.
Well, Yordan Álvarez turned it on to be more precise.
With one out in the bottom of the fifth and two runners on base, Álvarez launched a massive 435-foot home run to right-center field to make it a 4-4 tie ballgame.
The ball came off his bat at a blistering 110.6-mph with an launch angle of 26 degrees.
It was his second home run of the season and it couldn't have come at a better time. Now all of the momentum is in the Astros' favor.
