Houston Astros Prospects Round Up: April 20

It's the middle of the week, meaning it's once again time to take a quick glance at how the Houston Astros top-30 prospects are faring in the farm systems.
Let's begin with the prospects in Triple-A and we'll take a look at the players all the way down to Single-A.
Please note that player slash lines do not include stats from the games on Wednesday, April 19.
Triple-A (Sugar Land Space Cowboys)
The Space Cowboys own a 5-11 record in 2023 and host Las Vegas (7-10) on Thursday, April 20.
C Korey Lee (No. 5 prospect): slashing .240/.309/.300 this season with one home run and six RBI.
OF/2B Pedro Leon (No. 6 prospect): slashing .278/.344/.389 this season with three doubles, one home run and four RBI.
OF Justin Dirden (No. 7 prospect): slashing .208/.288/.340 this season with two doubles, one triple, one home run and four RBI.
RHP Misael Tamarez (No. 11 prospect): 0-0 record this season with a 5.79 ERA (9.1 innings pitched), seven strikeouts and 14 walks.
3B/OF Joe Perez (No. 14 prospect): slashing .188/.250/.313 this season with three doubles, one home run and seven RBI.
RHP Forrest Whitley (No. 19 prospect): 1-1 record this season with a 4.26 ERA (12.2 innings pitched), 17 strikeouts and six walks.
Double-A (Corpus Christi Hooks)
The Hooks own a 4-7 record in 2023 and host San Antonio (4-7) on Thursday, April 20.
OF Colin Barber (No. 3 prospect): slashing .120/.333/.160 this season with one double and three RBI.
LHP Colton Gordon (No. 8 prospect): 0-2 record this season with a 7.56 ERA (8.1 innings pitched), 10 strikeouts and four walks.
RHP Spencer Arrighetti (No. 9 prospect): 0-1 record this season with a 14.85 ERA (6.2 innings pitched), 10 strikeouts and five walks.
INF Will Wagner (No. 12 prospect): slashing .375/.444/.708 this season with two doubles, two home runs and six RBI.
RHP Jaime Melendez (No. 13 prospect): 2-0 record this season with a 4.15 ERA (8.2 innings pitched), six strikeouts and two walks.
OF Kenedy Corona (No. 18 prospect): slashing .250/1.000/1.250 this season for the Hooks with one home run and one RBI (through one game after being called up from High-A).
OF Quincy Hamilton (No. 22 prospect): slashing .346/.419/.538 this season with five doubles, five RBI and one stolen base.
RHP Shawn Dubin (No. 23 prospect): 0-0 record this season with a 2.45 ERA (11.0 innings pitched), 12 strikeouts and four walks.
OF Zach Daniels (No. 30 prospect): slashing .385/.385/.538 this season with two doubles, one RBI and one stolen base.
High-A (Asheville Tourists)
The Tourists own a 3-6 record in 2023 and host Winston-Salem (7-2) on Thursday, April 20.
OF Drew Gilbert (No. 1 prospect): slashing .345/.424/.483 this season with one double, one home run, two RBI and one stolen base.
OF Jacob Melton (No. 2 prospect): slashing .160/.364/.280 this season with one home run, two RBI and one stolen base.
RHP Miguel Ullola (No. 10 prospect): 0-1 record this season with a 9.45 ERA (6.2 innings pitched), six strikeouts and seven walks.
OF/1B/2B Joey Loperfido (No. 16 prospect): slashing .207/.250/.448 this season with two doubles, one triple, one home run and five RBI.
OF Logan Cerny (No. 20 prospect): slashing .185/.267/.333 this season with one double, one home run and four RBI.
RHP Edinson Batista (No. 24 prospect): 0-2 record this season with a 6.23 ERA (8.2 innings pitched), 10 strikeouts and four walks.
C/1B Miguel Palma (No. 29 prospect): slashing .174/.231/.261 this season with two doubles and two RBI.
Single-A (Fayetteville Woodpeckers)
The Woodpeckers own a 7-3 record in 2023 and face Columbia (4-5) on the road on Thursday, April 20.
OF Ryan Clifford (No. 4 prospect): slashing .375/.556/.500 this season with one double, one home run and and eight RBI.
RHP Andrew Taylor (No. 15 prospect): 0-0 record this season with a 4.15 ERA (4.1 innings pitched), four strikeout and two walks.
RHP Michael Knorr (No. 25 prospect): 1-0 record this season with a 2.25 ERA (4.0 innings pitched), six strikeouts and two walks.
RHP Jose Fleury (No. 27 prospect): 0-0 record this season with a 2.08 ERA (8.2 innings pitched), 11 strikeouts and six walks.
All four of Houston's farm teams are playing again on Thursday, giving Houston's prospects further opportunities to develop as the season rolls on.
