Watch: Pete Walker says No-Hitters Could Lose their Luster

Blue Jays Pitching Coach Pete Walker said no-hitters could lose their luster if the current trend continues

There have been six MLB no-hitters already in 2021, seven if you could Madison Bumgarner's seven-inning shutout.

The league is already nearing the record in a modern Major League Baseball season for no-hitters, seven, and Blue Jays Pitching Coach Pete Walker said, if things continue on this pace, the feat could lose its luster a little bit.

"I think it's still historic," Walker said. "Obviously if there are 24 no-hitters this year that might change my thinking a little bit."

The coach said he's curious how things continue to play out this season, and he has a feeling there won't be as many no-hitters as we think.
