Braves take Hurston Waldrep/RHP Florida in the first round of the 2023 MLB Draft
With the 24th pick of the first round, Atlanta added to their talented pitching prospects with Hurston Waldrep, a right-handed pitcher from Florida. If you are looking for talented players at the collegiate level, why not check out a guy that played for a National Championship last month?
Waldrep was the No. 2 pitcher behind Brandon Sproat for the Gators last season. He worked as a starter for the Gators, but there is a possibility that he will come out of the bullpen for the Braves.
