The Chicago Cubs will host the San Diego Padres on Saturday afternoon after having suffered a loss to the San Francisco Giants on Saturday. Chicago will look to get on track Sunday as they face yet another National League West stalwart.

Highlights of Saturday include starting pitcher Adrian Sampson, who is fighting for the fifth spot in the rotation, throw 4.1 innings of one-run baseball while striking out six.

Offensively, there wasn't much to write home about outside of a Patrick Wisdom double.

They will now try and gain some momentum against a very good Padres squad.

The game will be televised in the local Chicago market on the Marquee Sports Network. San Diego will televise it on Bally Sports San Diego. It will also be streamed live on MLB.tv for those who reside outside the two markets.
