The Chicago Cubs Top 30 prospect list saw one player make a big jump into the Top 30, while the top two prospects remained the same in the latest list released by MLB.com.

Owen Caissie, an outfielder who is at Double-A Tennessee, moved up from No. 12 in the previous rankings to No. 3 in the new rankings. That also moved him into the Top 100 overall prospect rankings.

In fact, each of the Top 5 Cubs prospects are among the Top 100 in baseball, including outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, who remains the organization’s No. 1 prospect and is at Triple-A Iowa.

Pitcher Cade Horton, who is at Double-A Tennessee, remained No. 2. After Caissie, outfielder Kevin Alcántara remained No. 4 and pitcher Ben Brown — who is at Triple-A Iowa — dropped from No. 3 to No. 5.

The rest of the Top 10 include shortstop Matt Shaw at No. 6 pitcher catcher/first baseman Moises Ballesteros at No. 7, pitcher Jackson Ferris at No. 8, second baseman James Triantos at No. 9 and pitcher Jordan Wicks at No. 10.

Wicks dropped from No. 5 to No. 10 but recently earned a promotion to Iowa. Shaw was the Cubs’ first-round pick (No. 13 overall) in last month’s MLB Draft and is at High Class-A South Bend.

The next tier of prospects includes shortstop Jefferson Rojas at No. 11, pitcher Michael Arias at No. 12, first baseman Matt Mervis at No. 13, outfielder Alexander Canario at No. 14, pitcher Daniel Palencia at No. 15, pitcher Drew Gray at No. 16, shortstop Derniche Valdez at No. 17, first baseman Haydn McGeary at No. 18, infielder BJ Murray Jr. at No. 19 and outfielder Brennen Davis at No. 20.

The last tier of Top 30 prospects includes infielder Cristian Hernandez at No. 21, shortstop Luis Vazquez at No. 22, shortstop Josh Rivera at No. 23, pitcher Caleb Killan at No. 24, pitcher Jaxon Wiggins at No. 25, pitcher Luke Little at No. 26, pitcher Porter Hodge at No. 27, catcher Pablo Aliendo at No. 28, pitcher Kohl Franklin at No. 29 and pitcher Brody McCullough at No. 30.
