Latest Information on D-backs New Schedule

In this story:
The Diamondbacks were scheduled to play Saturday morning/afternoon against the New York Yankees. However, that is no longer the case due to inclement weather from Tropical Storm Ophelia. This caused the D-backs game to go into a postponement. Due to Sunday's game being in danger of postponement, the MLB made the difficult decision to completely change the next week of baseball for the D-backs, Yankees, and Chicago White Sox.
The postponed Saturday game has now been rescheduled for Monday, September 25th at 1:05 PM EST or 10:05 AM AZ time. This was the only available day for both teams as it was an off-day for the Yankees. Arizona was supposed to be in Chicago starting a three-game series against the White Sox on Monday.

Now, the D-backs will see that series postponed by a day. The three-game series against the White Sox will now be played from Tuesday to Thursday ahead of the Astros' series on Friday. The series will now start on Tuesday, September 26th. Monday's game has been moved to Thursday to accommodate the make-up Yankees-Dbacks game. Thursday had been an off-day for the Diamondbacks as they traveled home to face the Houston Astros. Now, they will play eight games in eight days as they fight for the playoffs and a spot in the NL Wild Card.
Below are the listed times for the new schedule for the Arizona Diamondbacks road trip across the East Coast.
Sunday, September 24th @ 10:35 A.M. AZ time @ New York Yankees
RHP Zac Gallen is slated to start on Sunday. He is 16-8 with a 3.60 ERA.
Monday, September 25th @ 10:05 A.M. AZ time @ New York Yankees
RHP Merrill Kelly is slated to start on Monday . He is 12-7 with a 3.37 ERA.
Tuesday, September 26th @ 4:40 P.M. AZ time @ Chicago White Sox
Wednesday, September 27th @ 11:10 A.M. AZ time @ Chicago White Sox
Thursday, September 28th @ 11:10 A.M. AZ time @ Chicago White Sox
Friday, September 29th @ 6:40 P.M. AZ time vs. Houston Astros
Hopefully, Sunday's game against the Yankees does not get rained out. If it does, the team will likely play a doubleheader on Monday to ensure all 162 games can get played by the end of the day on Sunday next week. However, perhaps the day off now will give the team a tad more rest and the ability to plan out the next week-plus of games. Check back later to see if any other changes have happened or if Sunday's game ends up being rained out.
