D-backs Go For Series Victory in Game Two vs White Sox

In this story:
The Arizona Diamondbacks are set up to take on the Chicago White Sox in a day game this Wednesday afternoon. It was originally set up to be the team's travel day, but thanks to the postponed Yankees game last weekend, the club still has one more to play in Chicago tomorrow. However, they can clinch a series victory this afternoon.
Perhaps more importantly, the D-backs can add onto or maintain their NL Wild Card lead over the Cubs and Marlins. The Diamondbacks are 83-74. They have gone 7-3 over their last ten games. Meanwhile, the Cubs are 82-75 after losing a critical game against the Braves due to a bad error in the outfield. At one point, they were up 6-0. Thanks to their loss, the D-backs hold a 1.0-game lead on them for the third Wild Card spot. Plus, Arizona holds the tiebreaker. Miami has the tiebreaker on both Arizona and Chicago and sits just a 1/2 game back of the Cubs. They have a doubleheader against the New York Mets today.
Pitching Matchup
Brandon Pfaadt is on the mound for the D-backs. He's coming off a tough outing against the Yankees last Friday. He lasted just 4.1 innings and gave up eight hits, six runs, and struck out eight. He was hit hard by Aaron Judge who launched two home runs off of him. Still, though, Pfaadt is having a good second half of the season. He's started 11 games and has a 4.59 ERA over 64.2 innings with 65 strikeouts.
Pfaadt has been better on the road than at home too. He has a 5.68 ERA on the road with 40 strikeouts, 45 hits, 10 walks, and 15 home runs over 44.1 innings. That's better than a 6.46 ERA over 46 innings at home.
On the season, Brandon Pfaadt is 2-9 with a 6.08 ERA over 18 games and 17 starts. He's thrown 90.1 innings and given up 104 hits, 63 runs, 22 home runs, 26 walks, and has struck out 86 batters. He has a 5.48 FIP and a -0.7 bWAR.
The Chicago White Sox are going with a bullpen game. Luis Patino is starting for them. The former Tampa Bay Rays pitcher has appeared in just five games with the White Sox. He has served as a bulk reliever with at least two innings pitched in all but one of his appearances.
However, he has given up at least one run in all but one appearance. He may have a 2.77 ERA with the White Sox over 13 innings, but his FIP is 5.03. That's because he has walked 10 batters in such a short time frame. He also has 10 strikes and has given up 12 hits.
Patino will serve as the bulk opener before giving way to the rest of the White Sox bullpen. Look for the D-backs to remain patient and try to work some walks. Patino has walked at least two batters in all but two of his outings so far this season.
Starting Lineups
The Arizona Diamondbacks are sending out the exact same lineup from last night. Christian Walker will look to stay hot after hitting two home runs and a triple last night along with a career-high six RBI. Geraldo Perdomo will try to continue his recent string of success too after ending a long slump. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is 1-for-4 with an RBI against Patino. Tommy Pham is hitless in two at-bats. Walker has faced Patino once without a hit.
The D-backs will be looking to prevent Eloy Jimenez from beating them. He drove in all four White Sox runs last night including a mammoth home run. He will be the key to shutting down this struggling White Sox lineup.
