Diamondbacks Minor League Report 4/15/2023

In this story:
The Diamondbacks minor league affiliates combined for a 1-3 record.
Joe Mantiply took the mound for Amarillo in another rehab appearance, throwing two innings and 26 pitches. He had a clean fifth inning and pitched out of a first and third jam in the sixth by inducing an inning-ending double play to second.

Mantiply appears primed to make his season debut when the D-backs travel out to St. Louis for a midweek series.
Triple-A: Reno Aces 6, Sacramento River Cats 15; 5-8
Dominic Fletcher (No. 14) was 1-for-6
Buddy Kennedy was a home run shy of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored. He's now batting .394 (13-48) with four doubles, a triple and three homers.
Dominic Canzone (No. 16) was 1-for-5
Diego Castillo was 1-for-3 with a double and a pair of walks, extending his hitting streak to 12
Seth Beer was 0-for-4 with a walk
Jorge Barrosa (No. 24) was 2-for-4 with a double, walk, and two RBI.
Double-A: Amarillo Sod Poodles 5, Corpus Christi Hooks 3; 5-3
It was the Jordan Lawlar show, as the D-backs No. 3 prospect had an opposite field home run and also made an impressive play up the middle. Lawlar finished 1-for-3 with that home run, a walk and a stolen base.

Jamison Hill allowed just one run in four innings, allowing three hits, walked one, and struck out 4.
Tim Tawa (No. 26) went 0-for-4
Caleb Roberts struck out three times and walked once
Deyvison De Los Santos (No. 12) was 0-for-3, but walked and scored in the sixth inning.
A.J. Vukovich (No. 13) had two hits and drove in three runs, including a two-run single that broke the game open in the sixth.
Adrian Del Castillo had a walk in three trips to the plate.
High-A: Hillsboro Hops 7, Everett AquaSox 20; 6-2
Yu-Min Lin's (No. 11) first start of 2023 did not go so well, as the 5'11" lefty allowed three runs on three hits, two walks, and two strikeouts in 1.1 innings.
Ivan Melendez (No. 10) was 1-for-4 with a walk
Shane Muntz went 2-for-5 with two RBI
Conor Grammes (No. 27) retired the only batter he faced on a groundout
Low-A: Visalia Rawhide 4, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 12; 2-6
Druw Jones (No. 4) was 2-for-5 and drove in two runs.
Manuel Peña (No. 19) went hitless in five at-bats.
Andrew Pintar (No. 30) had three hits, including a pair of doubles
