Mookie Betts has quite the arm. In fact, he technically has two of them, but the one he throws a baseball with is pretty special. Chances are likely that you already knew all this. Just like most Dodgers fans do. And other teams and players around the league.

Well, except for Ketel Marte.

The Diamondbacks infielder has had the pleasure of being thrown out on base by Mookie three times in his career, including twice in the last four days.

How does the saying go? Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, won't get fooled again. Something like that. Marte has now been fooled thrice. And, wildly, he's working on the TOOTBLAN (thrown out on the bases like a nincompoop) cycle with Mookie.

First clip above was from 2020, Mookie's first season with the Dodgers. While Marte was trying to stretch a double to a triple, Mookie unleashed his first big play in Dodger blue, rifling Marte down at third on a laser from the right field line.

So that's an out at third base.

The second clip from Thursday, Marte challenged Mookie and Mookie said no way.

So that's the out at second base.

And in the third clip from Sunday, Marte got hosed at home. The best part was that Mookie had been playing at second base for the first 8 innings of the game.

So there's your out at home plate. Impressive. For both players.

Ironically, on the TOOTBLAN cycle, the play at first base is the hardest one to get. Marte would need to either fall while running out of the box or I guess we could count a back pick assist from the outfield?

Chances are that we never see the complete cycle. But, if Ketel Marte was smart about it, we should also never see him get thrown out by Mookie Betts again!

Oh, by the way, the Dodgers lost 2-1 to the Diamondbacks.
