Dodgers Officially Make a Decision on Struggling Noah Syndergaard

In this story:
A decision has been made on struggling pitcher Noah Syndergaard. The Dodgers have officially placed him on the injured list with a blister on his right index finger. He has been dealing with the injury all season long and it could have been a cause for the struggles he has seen this season. In a corresponding move, the team recalled pitcher Tayler Scott.
The Dodgers recalled RHP Tayler Scott and placed RHP Noah Syndergaard on the 15-day injured list with a blister on his right index finger.

Syndergaard has been one of the main talking points among Dodger fans due to his poor play. He easily has had the worst start to his career with the boys in blue and the hope is that after letting the injury heal, maybe he can get back on track.
On the year, he has posted an ERA over seven and has looked like a shell of his former self. If the team wanted him to play through the injury, he would have been able to. But his performance has been hurting the team, even in their need for starting pitchers.
I know he's been bad during his time with the #Dodgers but you have to feel for Noah Syndergaard. He was so dominant years ago and it has to be a struggle for him to perform so poorly

Maybe a break with help get him back on track
The Dodgers brought Syndergaard in to eat innings and be a middle of the pack starter. Known for their ability to help players reform their career, Syndergaard took less money to join Los Angeles. So far, this plan has backfired and it's been hard to watch.
Luckily for Los Angeles, they will be getting some much need reinforcements with Julio Urías coming back from injury. With this news, it was just time to let Syndergaard deal with the lingering blister injury.
Syndergaard has spoken about wanting to be better and he understands that he isn't able to get major league hitters out currently. The decision had to be made and hopefully when he returns, things may be different. But for now, his future as a Dodger is questionable at best.
