Major League Baseball is starting a new All-Star team, well sort of.

MLB announced today that they are starting a new "All-MLB Team," which they say will "recognize and commemorate the top performances by players in the 2019 regular season."

The Indians had plenty of memorable moments, and the team is nominating five players for the team.

Included for the Tribe are Carlos Santana, Francisco Lindor, Brad Hand, Roberto Perez and Shane Bieber.

The choices will be announced on December 10th in San Diego during the 2019 MLB Winter Meetings.

Voting for this new "All-MLB Team" starts today through December 3rd at 5pm Eastern. Fans may vote every 24 hours on MLB.com. They will also at the Winter Meetings announce first-team and second-team choices.

You can vote for choices at catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop and three outfield spots. You also can cast votes for five starting pitchers and two relievers.

“Major League Baseball is pleased to begin a new tradition that will highlight the accomplishments of our great players throughout the entirety of the regular season," Tony Petitti, MLB Deputy Commissioner, Business & Media, said.

"We look forward to pairing the participation of fans and many of our sport’s prominent voices in celebrating the year’s best.”
