Sports Illustrated picks Dodgers over Indians in the World Series

On Tuesday, Zack Meisel of Cleveland.com reported that Sports Illustrated has picked the Los Angeles Dodgers to defeat the Cleveland Indians in the World Series.

In 2015 Sports Illustrated picked the Cleveland Indians to win the World Series and defeat the Washington Nationals. Many Indians fans blamed Sports Illustrated during the 2015 season and said that the magazine jinxed the team or cursed them.

During the 2015 season, the Indians had a record of 81-80 and missed the playoffs that year.

According to wkyc.com, the Indians will have a piece in the 2017 Sports Illustrated MLB previews titled, "Indians: The New Cubs."

Every Indians fan knows what happened in the 2016 season when the Cubs defeated the Indians in 7 games. If the Indians are the new Cubs, are the Indians the 2017 World Series Champions? Let's wait and find out.

Lastly the Indians defeated the Dodgers in a Spring Training match-up on Monday with a final score of 14-5 , the day before Sports Illustrated picked their World Series Champion.
