The Philadelphia Phillies have set their pitching probables for their three-game series at the Milwaukee Brewers, which starts on Friday at American Family Field.

The Phillies will face the Brewers at 8:10 p.m. eastern on Friday, 7:15 p.m. on Saturday and 1:05 p.m. on Sunday.

Zack Wheeler (10-6, 3.59) should start for Philadelphia on Friday. He took the victory against St. Louis on Saturday, going seven innings and giving up three hits and an earned run. He struck out 10 and walked none.

It continues an uptick in his performance, as Wheeler is 3-2 with a 2.51 ERA in his last seven starts with 49 strikeouts and eight walks in 46.2 innings.

Brewers right-hander Freddy Peralta (11-8, 3.95) is expected to start on Friday. He is coming off his third straight win in his last appearance against the San Diego Padres on Saturday. He threw 5.1 innings and gave up two hits and two earned runs. He struck out nine and walked three. Like Wheeler, his numbers lately have been superb — 5-1 with a 2.85 ERA in seven starts with 64 strikeouts and 13 walks in 41 innings.

Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola (12-8, 4.30) is expected to start Saturday’s game. He is coming off his third straight win, as he went seven innings and gave up one hit against St. Louis on Sunday. He didn’t allow a run and struck out nine against one walk. Like Wheeler, his pitching has come around of late. He is 8-4 with a 3.95 ERA in his last 15 starts, with 109 strikeouts and 23 walks in 92.2 innings.

The Brewers have not announced a probable starter for Saturday’s game.

The Phillies are expected to start Ranger Suárez (2-6, 3.88) in Sunday’s finale. The Phillies plan to activate him from the 15-day injured list on Sunday, assuming he has no setbacks.

The Phillies placed him on the 15-day injured list on Aug. 19 (retroactive to Aug. 16) with a hamstring strain. He last pitched against Minnesota on Aug. 13. He gave up six hits and two earned runs in 6.1 innings. He struck out eight and walked three. Suárez is 0-3 in his last seven starts with a 4.17 ERA, as he’s struck out 34 and walked 17 in 41 innings.

The Brewers are expected to start Wade Miley (7-3, 3.17) in the finale. The left-hander is coming off a win over the Chicago Cubs on Monday. He went six innings, gave up four hits and two earned runs while striking out one. He’s been solid in his last seven starts, going 2-1 with a 3.41 ERA, along with 26 strikeouts and 13 walks in 37 innings.

After wrapping up the Milwaukee series, the Phillies move on to San Diego for a three-game series that starts on Monday.
