The Philadelphia Phillies have set their pitching rotation for their three-game series against the Atlanta Braves, which starts on Monday at Truist Park in Atlanta.

Monday’s and Tuesday’s games will start at 7:20 p.m. eastern, while Wednesday’s finale will start at 12:20 p.m.

On Monday the Phillies will start right-hander Zack Wheeler (11-6, 3.70) against Atlanta right-hander Kyle Wright (0-2, 7.48).

Wheeler took a no-decision in his last start against Atlanta on Tuesday, as he threw five innings and gave up seven hits and six earned runs. He struck out four and walked three. In his last seven starts, Wheeler is 3-1 with a 3.68 ERA with 47 strikeouts and 10 walks in 44 innings.

Wright lost his last start, which came against Philadelphia as part of a doubleheader on Monday. He went three innings and gave up three hits and three earned runs. He also struck out three and walked two. He his last six starts he has struck out 23 and walked 12 in 21.2 innings.

The Phillies will start left-hander Cristopher Sánchez (2-4, 3.40) against Atlanta right-hander Spencer Strider (5-5, 4.06) on Tuesday. The Phillies also intend to use starter Michael Lorenzen out of the bullpen in that game.

Sánchez took the loss against Atlanta on Wednesday, but he threw 7.1 innings, giving up eight hits and four earned runs. He struck out 10 and walked one. He may only have a 2-1 record in his last seven starts, but he’s struck out 42 and walked six in 40 innings. He also has a 4.28 ERA.

Strider won last start on Wednesday against Philadelphia. He gave up four hits and one earned run in seven innings, as he struck out nine and walked two. In his last seven starts, Strider is 5-2 with a 4.12 ERA, with 51 strikeouts and 16 walks in 39.1 innings.

Wednesday’s finale will feature Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola (12-9, 4.62) against Atlanta right-hander Bryce Elder (12-4, 3.50).

Nola took a no-decision in his last start against St. Louis on Friday. He allowed seven hits and two earned runs in 4.2 innings, his second straight start of fewer than five innings. But, he struck out one and walked one. In his last seven starts he has a 3-1 record with a 4.78 ERA, along with 39 strikeouts and 11 walks in his last 37.2 innings.

Elder took a no-decision in his last start against Miami on Friday. He gave up nine hits and four earned runs in just five innings. But he struck out six and walked none. He’ll be a tough pitchers to get to, though, as he is 4-1 with a 3.70 ERA in his last seven games. He has 34 strikeouts and 14 walks in his last 41.1 innings.

After the Braves, the Phillies head home to start a four-games series with the New York Mets on Thursday.
