Ever since the standing ovation that Philadelphia Phillies fans gave Trea Turner during his struggling stretch, he has been on a tear at the plate.

The superstar that signed with the Phillies in the offseason for $300 million was hitting .236/.289/.377 with only 10 home runs and 34 RBI prior to that moment.

He is now scalding hot and showing why he was one of the most coveted signings on the market when Philadelphia got the gem of the 2022 free agency class.

Turner how has 26 home runs on the season, two away from his career high. He's hit 11 homers in his last 13 games, rounding into form at the perfect time for the Phillies.

On Tuesday night, the superstar reached a career milestone when he hit home run No. 150 that tied the game in the bottom of the ninth inning.

The shortstop is the 588th person to ever hit that many home runs in their Major League career.

It's been an incredible run by the 30-year-old who is starting to find his way in Philadelphia. Unfortunately for him, the big night was spoiled in extra innings when the Atlanta Braves beat the Phillies in the 10th inning for the second day in a row.

Despite pitching struggles from their ace Zack Wheeler on Tuesday, who gave up six earned runs in five innings, Philadelphia worked their late inning magic, scoring four runs after the eighth inning to tie the game.

Their rally came up short once again as they now sit 16 games behind the Braves in the NL East division. The Phillies still hold the top spot in the NL Wild Card standings as they're set to finish the four-game series against their division rivals on Wednesday.
