The Philadelphia Phillies fell to the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night as they continued to work to try and reduce their magic number to claim a National League Wild Card berth.

The Phillies (79-66) lost the first game, 7-6. Atlanta (95-50) can clinch the National League East with a win over the Phillies in their series finale on Wednesday.

The Phillies remain the leader in the Wild Card race, holding onto the top seed, one that would allow them to host a Wild Card series, which at this time would come against the Chicago Cubs.

While both have a solid lead over the rest of the Wild Card field, there are four teams within two games of the final Wild Card spot.

Below is an update on the race, with the current standings, magic numbers to clinch a Wild Card berth and the remaining schedules for the teams that are still in the race.
