Is it World Series or Bust for Philadelphia Phillies?

In this story:
Tuesday night was an incredible moment for the Philadelphia Phillies franchise.
After missing the postseason for 10 straight years, they clinched their spot in the MLB Playoffs for the second year in a row.
While last year's appearance and deep run to the World Series was a surprise for some people, the expectations were much different for the Phillies heading into 2023.
After signing superstar Trea Turner to pair with Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos, Kyle Schwarber and their young nucleus, this team was expected to make the playoffs.
Reeling from injuries and poor play to start the year, Philadelphia eventually found their form and became one of the hottest teams in the MLB.
It prompted many people to view this team as a group no one wants to play when the postseason starts.
So, with the Phillies now officially in the MLB Playoffs, are the expectations now World Series or bust?
Multiple members of this team certainly feel like they have a shot at winning the championship.
"We’re a really good team. We’re a really good group of guys. We were last year as well. But this year, hope we get there and finish the job," Harper told Todd Zolecki of MLB.com.
Zach Wheeler added to that, saying, "I hope we can win this thing this year."
It's certainly the goal of every team to win the World Series. Making the playoffs is the first step in that journey.
But, it might not be realistic to expect this team to make another deep run.
The Atlanta Braves have won over 100 games, the Los Angeles Dodgers are on their way to doing the same and the Milwaukee Brewers have the same amount of wins as Philadelphia does entering Thursday.
Still, Schwarber is confident in their chances.
"I think the biggest thing is that we have a lot of experience under our belt. It's a team that's not going to quit. We've proven that this year. We saw it last year. It's just a team that's going to go out there and try to out-grit the other team," he said.
That experience could be a huge factor in determining if they reach their goals or not.
One thing is for certain, the city and these players are ready for the opportunity.
Castellanos summed it up great when discussing this year compared to last year, saying, "It feels just as good. But we expected to do this as an organization. If we didn't do this, it's a monumental disaster. So, we passed high school. So now we get to go play"
