Cincinnati Reds Scouting Supervisor Sean Buckley Resigns

The Cincinnati Reds are in the midst of a crucial offseason where they will look to build a playoff contender. That also means changes to front offices across the league.
Reds scouting supervisor Sean Buckley announced on Twitter that he will be stepping away from the organization and from baseball. Buckley had been a scouting supervisor in Cincinnati for the last eight years, and a scout for 13 years in total.
Buckley was a sixth-round pick of the Reds in 2011 and spent five seasons in the farm system. Playing first base, he made it to Triple-A before retiring after the 2015 campaign.
The Reds restructured their scouting and development departments in 2018. They’ve been recognized around the league as a team headed in the right direction, even before the debuts of Matt McLain and Elly De La Cruz.
The Reds list 11 people under their pro, amateur, and international scouting departments. Read Buckley's entire announcement below:
