Watch: Jacob Hurtubise Receives Praise After Being Added to Reds' 40-Man Roster

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Reds added Jacob Hurtubise to their 40-Man roster last week.
It's another step closer towards the majors for an undrafted outfielder from Army. He posted a .333 batting average with 45 stolen bases and a .961 OPS in 119 games between Double and Triple-A.
Hurtubise graduated in 2020 during the pandemic and went undrafted that year. Since then, he's worked his way through the Reds minor league system. It's no guarantee that he'll make it to the majors, but this is a big step in the right direction.
MLB Network highlighted Hurtubise's accomplishment, his journey as an undrafted player and what's he's done away from baseball in a special feature segment.
